Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated Oct 1, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services from Finchbyte. Your proposal or agreement may contain specific terms, which take priority.
1. Before work starts
If you cancel in writing before we start work, we refund any advance payment in full, minus third-party costs we have already paid for you (such as software, domains or media).
2. Setup and one-time projects
Setup fees and one-time projects (such as funnel builds, websites and audits) cover work that starts immediately. Once work has started, you pay for the work done up to the date of cancellation, and any unused balance of an advance payment is refunded.
3. Monthly services
Monthly services (such as SEO, ads management, social media and automation retainers) are billed in advance and continue until you cancel. Give 30 days' written notice, unless your proposal says otherwise. The service continues until the end of the notice period; months already started are not refunded. Minimum terms stated in a proposal apply.
4. Advertising spend and third-party costs
Ad spend is paid to Google, Meta, LinkedIn or other platforms and is subject to their refund policies. Third-party licences and tools bought for you are non-refundable once purchased.
5. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Our services are intended for businesses. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK and bought a service online, you have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. If you asked us to start work within those 14 days, you pay for the work done until you withdraw. Other countries' mandatory consumer rights also apply.
6. If something goes wrong
If we fail to deliver what was agreed, tell us within 14 days. We will fix it at no extra cost or, if that is not possible, refund the fees for the affected part. We aim to answer billing concerns within 2 working days.
7. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. Please contact us before raising a chargeback, so we can resolve it quickly.
8. Contact
Email our contact page or call available on request. For complaints, see Grievance Redressal.
